JARSH Commute stands out in several key ways:
- Triple certification including CPSC-ASTM F144, CE-EN 1078, and NTA-8776 for e-bike safety (up to 45 km/h)
- App-free smart features that work right out of the box
- Integrated comfort features like the built-in bug net and ponytail compatibility
- -20°C to 60°C operating range with IPX6 water resistance
- Smart remote with status indicators that work without smartphone connectivity
Unlike many smart helmets that require constant app connection and updates, JARSH Commute focuses on reliable, intuitive functionality that enhances your ride without adding complexity.
No. Unlike many smart helmets, JARSH Commute works completely independently without requiring any smartphone apps, Bluetooth connections, or accounts. All features function right out of the box.
The lighting system will operate for approximately 40 hours in pulse mode or 16 hours in constant mode on a full charge. The remote control battery lasts up to 80 hours of normal use. Both the helmet and remote feature low battery alerts to let you know when it's time to recharge.
JARSH Commute has an IPX5 water resistance rating, which means it's protected against powerful water jets from any direction. This makes it suitable for riding in heavy rain and adverse weather conditions. While not completely submersible, it will handle virtually any weather you'd ride in.
Size M weigh 470g, size L weigh 490g, balancing lightweight comfort with robust protection and smart features.
JARSH Commute is designed to operate perfectly in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), making it suitable for year-round use in most climates.
Yes! One of our key design features is ponytail compatibility. The 360° fit system and rear design accommodate various hairstyles without compromising fit or safety.
JARSH Commute is triple-certified:
- NTA-8776: The Dutch standard for e-bike helmets (protection up to 45 km/h)
- CE-EN1078: The European standard for bicycle helmets
- CPSC: The US Consumer Product Safety Commission standard (ASTM F1447)
Both the helmet and remote charge via the included USB-C cable with a 1-to-2 splitter, allowing you to charge both devices simultaneously from a single USB port. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Important: Always use the original charging cable provided with your JARSH Commute. Do not use third-party cables with fast-charging capabilities (like smartphone or laptop chargers) as these may damage the battery and electronics. After 2 hours of charging, the indicator light will turn green showing the battery is sufficiently charged, though a full charge takes 2.5 hours.
The built-in bug net is a fine mesh integrated into the helmet's ventilation system that prevents insects from entering while maintaining optimal airflow. This eliminates the uncomfortable and potentially dangerous distraction of insects getting trapped in your helmet while riding.

To find your perfect fit, measure the circumference of your head about 1cm above your eyebrows using a flexible tape measure. Compare your measurement to our size chart:
- M: 55-59cm / 21.7" - 23.2" inches
- L: 59-63cm / 23.2" - 24.8" inches
If your head measurement falls between sizes, we recommend sizing up for optimal comfort. The 360° fit system allows for fine-tuning once on your head.
The JARSH Commute features a 360° fit system that can be adjusted by turning the dial at the back of the helmet. The straps can also be adjusted for perfect positioning. We recommend following these steps:
- Position the helmet level on your head, about 1-2 finger widths above your eyebrows
- Adjust the 360° fit system until snug but comfortable
- Adjust the straps to form a "Y" under your ears
- Secure the magnetic Fidlock buckle and adjust the strap so that only 1-2 fingers fit between the strap and your chin
- Check that the helmet doesn't move more than 1 inch in any direction when secured
Yes, JARSH Commute is designed to accommodate most eyewear styles. The helmet's design ensures that glasses arms can fit comfortably alongside the straps and retention system.
